Northland Pioneer College is proud to recognize nine NPC students who won a scholarship for a laptop computer. The scholarship is sponsored by NPC's Student Government Association.

Northland Pioneer College is pleased to announce President's List honors for the Spring 2017 semester. Students who earn President's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours in a 100-level or higher course and earn a GPA of 4.0.

NPC recognized 145 students with Dean's List honors for the Spring 2017 semester. Students who earn Dean's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours in a 100-level or higher course and earn a grade-point average between 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Five NPC students served as college leaders on the Student Government Association during the spring 2017 semester.

Eight NPC students have received the college's Fill-the-Gaps Grant, which applies toward tuition, books and fees for the Fall 2017 semester.

In a ceremony on Saturday, December 17, 2016, more than 200 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Fall Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Leslie Goldstein, senior lecturer in the FLC Freshman Math Program and winner of the FLC Alice Admire Outstanding Teaching Award.

Alpha Gamma Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year college students, welcomed 29 new members during an induction ceremony, Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at Northland Pioneer College.

Students in the Show Low Automotive and Welding classes designed, built, walked along side or helped tear down a float for the City of Show Low's annual Christmas Light Parade on Saturday, December 3, 2016. The judges awarded 1st Place - Judges' Choice Award to the entry.

Faculty from Chemistry, Biology, and the MARC U*STAR program attended the SACNAS (Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) National Convention in Long Beach, Calif. with 30 Fort Lewis College students studying the STEM disciplines. The students' trip to the conference was funded by NIH program SSNAP (Science Scholars: The Native American Path).

Over 400 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Fall 2015 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.
